3D Modeling Program

I had a questions regarding various 3D modeling programs that I'm reposting from this thread:

Does anyone know what 3D modelling programs were used for creating this ride demo?
I'm working on a ride project myself and I've been trying to figure out what programs to use. I use a program in school called Pro/Engineering... but it's for creating CAD models and such for mechanical systems and stuff like parts... and I might use it to create the vehicle. But I still need a program to create the ride itself.

That wasn't my question.
I know what Pixar uses to make their movies. My question is what Imagineers use to make their ride demos. Unless it's the same program... however I do sort of doubt that due to the elementary look of the pre-vis... although it easily could be the same program with simplistic modeling done.

I thought there were specific programs for working on rides though that allow you to set up a demo course that the vehicle will take and such. That's what I figured they were using.
