  • So, what Tech Toys did you get for Christmas?

Well, the unwrapping has come and gone, what electronic toys did we all get?

I got my BluRay player and several movies (Star Trek, District 9, Night at the Museum 2, Up).

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

I'm past the getting-presents age aside from name-draws. We did that; mine was the choose-your-own-with-this-little-card variety, which will be going toward one of those modern computer monitors that will double for HDTV use. So I'll finally have gone hi-def.

My brother got the family a blue-ray player, and my Step Dad got him the Droid. I got the Canon Rebel (saw it used on this site mostly, and it's my first slr).

Touchstone charger for my pre. Loving it. Just need to find the double sided tape so that it will stick to the side of my dresser.

I got my big present a month ago, a 17.3" laptop.

But the BF got me a new, bigger cooling pad thingy for it and my mom got me a wireless mouse.

You JUST got a wireless mouse? You poor soul.

Does it charge or take batteries? [[I wish mine was chargable, but AA batteries do the trick]]

My other laptop mouse is a tiny little one with a retractable cord. It's so tiny it's cute.

My wireless mouse takes 1 AA battery (my mom also got me a 4 pack of those, so I'm set for awhile). I'm such a moron though... I put the battery in backwards at first. Duh.

A PS3 with Blu-ray The Dark Knight and The Hangover. Now i gotta go to Best Buy and buy some games, blu-ray movies and a HDMI switch.

^^ Don't pay too much for a HDMI cable. Those Monster brand ones they sell at Best Buy are WAY overpriced. You can get one for half that (or less) at Target. Or you can get them even cheaper online (Amazon, etc.).

reminds me of a call I got from an aunt awhile back. she wanted me to come over to see why her computer wasn't working, she couldn't type. after some questions and answers. cpu was on, monitor was on, mouse was working, keyboard not working. no lights. I asked her if she might have loosened the plug. "no I don't think so, it doesn't have a plug" "ah, try changing the battery, if that doesn't work call me back"
