  • DVD Camcorder Lens won't open

So, I spent a very long week with a whole lot of family at Yellowstone this weekend.

On the last day, my Sony DVD Camcorder lens won't open. The camera still works just fine, but I can only get a little pinhole of an opening.

Is this an easy fix? Most of the camera shops around here send stuff out, and I'm wondering if it's going to be worth it to get it fixed.

Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!

found this blog with tips on how to fix lens covers for a few cameras.. Sony isn't listed, but i would imagine a simple leaf-shutter based lens cover would be similar on cameras across the grid: Do It Yourself Digital Camera Repair: Repair of Stuck Lens Covers
