  • Wireless Internet while flying?

    Hi guys!

I have verizon wireless national broadband on my laptop and I have to fly to Utah. Will the wireless internet work while flying? I have never tried it but I am curious if you guys have? I know while on the ground electronic devices must be off, but I'm not sure about this.

    Thanks!

Most airlines also do not like people using cell phones and other wireless communications devices while they're in the air as well. It doesn't actually interfere with anything at that point but they're just expecially picky.

Good luck! A trip from Kazakhstan to Utah ought to take a while.

As far as I know the airline has to have the right equipment on the aircraft in order for wireless internet. As far as I know no US airlines offer this yet. Lufthansa does on some international routes as do a few others, but not many.
