A Question for Non-Geeks

I have a question for non-geeks. Are there any types of Geeky things that you were interested in but seemed to complicated to learn? ie. Website Building, HTML Script, RSS Code etc.

I'm planning to start a website which will help people learn such skills, and I'd love to know what people want to learn about.
