What the heck is...ERROR 00E....

For the past day or so, after an hour of being on the comp this message comes up..."ERROR 00EF4225:The service cannot accept control messages at this time. : $". It's getting really annoying, because once I close one of those message windows pops up, one after the other. I guess I should add that i'm running on Windows XP.

what programs do you have open most of the time?

have you ran checkdisk and defragged lately?

have you ran your anti-virus and anti-spyware programs?

have you banged your head on the desk yet? hope not - you just get a dented desk. I speak from experience...
