QuickTime 7/iTunes

  • QuickTime 7/iTunes

    Ok, FINALLY I was able to dl QT on my work compuer.
    It came bundlded with iTunes. i don't use iTunes.
    If I uninstall iTunes will QuickTime 7 stiill work?
    I'm not sure how interconnected they are.

      You installed the wrong installer, basically. To the right of the big "FREE DOWNLOAD" button is a link called "QuickTime Standalone Installer." That is what you download if you just want QuickTime and no iTunes bundled. But since you already installed it, yes, you can just uninstall iTunes.

                  When quick time works I use itunes...

                  My compaq computer hates it... Quicktime has errors... No matter what I do...

                  Any help?

                    What errors would those be? Please be very descriptive with your comments and somebody will be able to give you the information you need. Did you mean to say that you see a dimmed quicktime logo with a question mark superimposed ? Is that what you mean by "Quicktime has errors" ??
