  • iPod Issues: The Thread

I'm really frusterated at the moment.

I plug my iPod into the computer, it makes the little noise saying that something has been plugged in. Then nothing.

A little Autoplay screen comes up with the flashlight searching for files, but it goes away. iTunes has nothing about my iPod on it.

    Can anyone help?

(Why the hell does this stuff have to happen this late at night when I'm not in the mood to deal with it?)
    What an idiot....

Oh, I tried plugging my brothers iPod in and had the same problem. I've also used 3 different cables, and two different computers....

no but seriously I have no idea what would cause this. Im not really a PC guy. But if its happening to multiple iPods Id say it has something to do with the comp. Its kinda obvious but did you try restarrting the PC and/or resetting the iPod?

I would buy an iMac. starting at just $1099.00 its an atractive non-compromise, and may even be considered and upgrade.

In the interm calling Apple for help wouldnt hurt. Good luck.
