  • Dropping an mp3 player from 10 feet onto a tiled floor...Clever eh?

OK, so my brother is after breaking his Creative Zen Micro by accidently dropping it onto a tiled floor from a height of 10 feet...clever I know!...and the screen is completely busted and he needs a new one...

I have a Zen Micro too, but I had to send it back for repairs, as did my brother and 2 of my friends (It decided to stop turning on!)

So which mp3 players do you reccomend for his next one...We are thinking of an i-pod or a Sony Walkman...no more Creative for us!

my question is also what Mps player is good for my daughter. she wants to add music from cd's but I do not want to get a ipod in case she looses it. I will, but is there another out there not so expensive and does the same thing for less?

I can only recommed the iPod, which is what I have. Love it. But I'm a Mac person, so I may be biased.

I had a creative and had to return it. It stop working only aftr 6months. I thought it was from jogging but I didnt drop it and I thought it was good for the impact or shaking from jogging. Im just glad we it was stillunder warranty and the store I purchased it from gave back my money. I purchased a Mp3 from Dell (I'm quite satisfied) and it wasnt expensive.

I got a I-pod shuffle. It doesn't hold as much as the current i-pod's, but I have the entire musical history of Disneyland on it along with some bonus stuff (the spiels from the trams, etc) and I got room to spare. If you don't have a ton of stuff you want to put on it, Go for the shuffle.
              Growing older is manditory
              Growing up is however, optional

Take a look at the link Crazy Legs provided, ipod.com, and you will see that there are several other iPods. Prices and storage range from the $69 512 MB Shuffle to the $400 60GB iPod.

If you get an ipod get a nano or shuffle, not one with a harddrive or buy an extended warranty. I work at bestbuy and we send about 4 or 5 ipods a day in for repair and they are all models with the harddrive and need to have the Harddrive or battery replaced!!
