Need help- m4v files/player

Hello,

Does anyone know a player that can play m4v files other than quicktime?
I do have quicktime, but am having a problem with it. When I play videos in it, I only get audio, no video.
I thought I may be missing a codec, but it seems everything is supposed to be built in and I can't seem to find any codecs out there.

any help would be great!
