  • [Pictures] Knott's is in bloom! The wisteria is amazing!

The famed wisteria vines that Walter Knott planted in the 1940s are blooming once again. The old pergola that shaded visitors as they walked from Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant is not as lengthy as it once was, but a large portion of the arbor and its wisteria remain.

Look for the blooms and follow that wonderful wisteria scent to the arbor beside the rock house in Ghost Town.

And don't forget to visit the Catawampus~!

That was awesome, Eric. Now I want to go smell them I remember the pergola at it's full length (correct me if I'm wrong: It had some old strands of the Disney "twinkle tree" lights in the roof, no?) and it was quite lovely.

Thanks for these lovely photos, and I do certainly recall them being in bloom during my last, long ago visit as well. I can't wait to visit this April to "stop and smell the wisteria!"

SpectroMan! Totally correct; the arbor did have twinkle lights.

I'll be back at Knott's this weekend for the West Coast Bash and will take more pics of the wisteria and the park's gardens. It's Spring! Yeah!

Beautiful. As a child, I remember feeling like a princess, walking under those lovely flowers.

            Thanks, Eric!
