  • [Pictures] Four Years of Scary Farm/Haunt Photos: A Look Back

Seeing as truly, Haunt is one of (maybe even the) highlight of my year, and getting increasingly excited for the MiceChat meet/Haunt opening weekend which is fast approaching, here are the 'best of' shots of Haunt for as long has been going regularly. Enjoy!

Hope you enjoyed, and hope to see some of you foolish mortals when the fog sets in over Ghost Town, the last weekend in September....watch out for the town residents, though....

Regions Beyond, THANK YOU so much for posting those!

By far my favorite is the 4th photo of the woman clutching her stuffed bunny at last year's Haunt. She's my all-time favorite live "monster" because she seemed the most human. (Not her appearance, but her behavior.) Really erie! Most actors seem like they are humans trying to act like monsters, but she seemed like a true monster who was acting like a human. To me, that made her more haunting. I remember she was just suddenly standing in front of me, and I began talking to her, praising her look and she stayed in the shy, quiet character she had invented. Actually she may have suddenly screamed at another, but--if so--I don't remember that.

I'm looking forward to the Queen Mary's Dark Harbor Micechat meet on Saturday, Oct. 8, because the actors there were praised last year, and Fishbulb's recent interview with Dark Harbor acting director impressed me.

Indeed, she is a very good one, the plague girl (as I think of her). If you went through Doll Factory previous years to last, she may well be familiar...she was the featured "Girl" just before entering the play-house area who was a fan favorite. Good they let her branch out into doing streets, indeed.

DUDE! These are some of the best shots I have seen of Haunt! The Plague girl shot it just brutal in its simplicity. Wonderful work! And thank you for the kind words about the meet. It's my baby and I love it. The haunted sword of Destiny is currently charging up and will be ready to go on Saturday Sept 24th. See you there!

                  Excellent shots!

I would love to go this year, but I never do well in the "horror" costume department. But I'm curious to still check out the event.

I'm an OC native and have YET to attend the Haunt. Madness!

The pics are fantastic and bring back so many memories of Haunt from years past. I've been going for over twenty years and don't see an end in sight — it's such a great event! Happy Haunting!
