  • [Question] Knott's Berry Farm Labor Day Crowds

I've not gone to Knott's Berry Farm during a holiday weekend. Does anyone know how crowed it will be? I plan to be there on Saturday early afternoon. Is there less of a crowd in the late hours before closing time?

Thanks for any info. I just want to plan my day.

Re: Knott's Berry Farm Labor Day Crowds

We've visited quite a lot this summer, mostly on the weekends. The crowds were noticeably smaller this past Sunday, but several rides were running at lower capacity, so the waits weren't much better. The log ride and rapids ride had shorter waits than usual, though.

I'd guess the park will be crowded this holiday weekend, including into the nighttime. Don't forget that lots of locals have annual passes, which Knott's sells for just a little more than one-day passes. Some visits it seemed like the park was half-filled with unsupervised teenagers (although this was more during the summer).

I've not been on either Labor Day or Memorial Day weekend, so I'm only speculating. The park did end its summer entertainment last Sunday, but not sure how that will affect the crowds.

I work for Knott's and in general, Sunday is usually busier than Saturday during Monday holiday periods. Sunday is usually jam-packed often to the point of unbearable. Mondays can range from quiet to moderately busy.
