  • News Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies to return to Knotts!

The billies are now set to perform at Knott's berry farm starting January 12 until April 27 with more dates to be announced! I'm glad they were able to find a job so quickly. More info at The Official home of The Billys

Happy to see they landed safely. Knott's definitely goes up in the "visit soon" list...

As much as I like the 'Billies - Knott's is still not on my list.

        Good for them!

...I think I'd still be more likely to go to Six Flags than Knott's...

I'm glad things worked out for them. Hopefully they get a portrait of some sort in the Golden Horseshoe. I doubt it, though.

At least they're immortalized in Cars Land, at least in audio.

So I am guessing Disney will continue to pay them royalties for this?

Sorry for derailing the thread. It's been 20 years or so since I last visited Knott's and I know Matt Ouimet is now in charge there. I think Six Flags is the bottom of the bottom of theme parks - is it really better than Knott's?

You are correct, six flags is the bottom. The only thing they have going for them are the large coasters.
Matt is doing great things at Cedar Fair and Knotts is benefiting from that. (the 2 classic ride refurbs are a testament to that).
I also have six flags season passes, but I ENJOY going to Knotts more than I do Six Flags.

Only if they own the music. I'm guessing Disney owns the music.

Glad to hear that they have found another gig. It was really smart of Knott`s to pick them up.

Most of their music are cover songs, IIRC.
