Is it me, or is the Carnevil/Boardwalk area very brightly lit this year? My husband and I noticed it last night. It doesn't make for a scary atmosphere. I remember the clowns emerging from the darkness and fog.

I'm not writing this to be a wise guy but I was also there last night and I was struck by how dark it was,
and I think this was about the 8th year I've attended Scary Farm. Maybe the 9th or 10th. -
I will check again Saturday when we go back. Maybe Boardwalk was lit up for a reason at that moment.Comment

Ok well I didn't make it to Boardwalk but around the Dark Ride it was more brightly lit than I remember. I've been going since 1978 lol
I guess I expect Ghost Town all over the park! Ghost Town was great on Saturday..we walked into a blue light this time with so much fog we couldn't even see any guests...very, very spooky and fun! Next trip is Thursday!Comment
