Knott's Scary Farm 2020?

Knott's has extended my pass to 2021. But they have not announced anything for Knott's Scary Farm 2020 (which we also pre-purchased.)

It seems to me that Scary Farm will be impacted this year. Given the usual crowding, queues and close quarters in the mazes, I cannot imagine that they will be able to offer the same experience this year, if at all.

Does anyone have any insight or news how Knott's intends to handle this?

No insight but considering the Governor of CA still doesn't want people at beaches (where there is nothing to even touch or be inside a building) along with the Orange Country fair not going this year....I'd say they are slime to none.

Which sucks because I was planning on going to, but who knows maybe we will have 4-5 new mazes in 2021.

I doubt they'll be held this year, and I'll really miss Scary Farm & the Queen Mary's Dark Harbor in September. (I go early.) Maybe they'll be great in 2021, and maybe Warner Brothers will bring back their Halloween event that they reportedly made so much better in 2018 with Joker & Pennywise, but then didn't have in 2019.

I'll try to remember that I have it much easier today than what so many endured during the 1918 flu pandemic.
Being an introvert also helps.

If they don't have Scary Farm,
then maybe they should just have three high capacity mazes and make them part of general admission,
and not admit anyone who isn't an AP holder after 3pm.

They could double the capacity for each maze by having two similar paths for each one,
the way Walt Disney World used to have two nearly identical tracks for their Fantasyland dark rides, and still do for their Space Mountain. Disneyland used to have two identical theaters for the Country Bears, but that was a mistake because that attraction is more fun when the theater is packed with a lively audience.

The mazes could be made scarier after 7pm.

I asked Knott's Berry Farm if they are willing to offer refunds to anyone who pre-purchased Knott's Scary Farm season passes last year, and they said:

Unfortunately, Knott's Berry Farm is not offering refunds or cancellations for season passes or season pass add-ons. Once we approach the Knott’s Scary Farm date and obtain more information as to how the event will take place, we will be happy to assist with further inquiries at that time.

Which is kind of a "no", but there is some wiggle room depending on how things pan out. Let's see what happens.

About a month ago the Queen Mary announced that there will be no "Dark Harbor" this year.
