Last week a new Website wackysoapboxracers.com, dedicated to the Defunct (1980 to 1996) "Wacky Soap Box Racers" that is 40 years old this year is online. That Ride's designer, former Imagineer Eddie Sotto shares his personal photos and there is a blog for you to share your own memories.. Free and fun.

I’m bumping this! I’ve had a memory in my head for 35 years.. A race style ride.. dips.. and LARGE DOORS opening up as the ride’s cars approach! But I can’t - for the life of me - remember what ride or which park this was..

I tried searching YouTube for soapbox ride footage, but came across NO DOORS! Help me! Please!!

When I was younger this was definitely my favorite ride before I could handle the large coasters.

Nice! It's great this has been archived, it would be a shame for its memory to be lost to time.
