  • New traffic patterns around SFMM

Beginning next week, traffic entering and exiting SFMM will be diverted again as part of the ongoing expansion project at the intersection of Magic Mountain Parkway and The Old Road.

Northbound traffic off the I-5 will continue to be diverted down the side street which takes you back to Magic Mountain Parkway.

The biggest problem will be the traffic exiting the park. There will now be only one lane exiting coming down the hill, and you will not be able to get onto the I-5 at Magic Mountain Parkway. All exiting traffic will be diverted southbound on The Old Road onto the new lanes and will be able to enter at Valencia Bl (both northbound and southbound travelers).

This is supposed to begin next week, but is always subject to change.
"And yes, we implore EVERYBODY to follow the park rules. Having off-ride footage is great, but any still photo's or video's taken ON the coasters at SFMM are strictly against the rules. They are there for your (and everybody's) safety." "Six Flags doesn't allow ANY loose articles on their coasters, and they don't allow video taping on their coasters. " BUT, " This is not true. Six Flags does not allow ANY On-Ride video or pictures on the rides. The ONLY way is if you get explicit permission from Park Management." ???
