  • Knotts: How busy during offseason?

Looking to get season passes to Knotts too since they are really affordable.

How busy does Knotts get during the offseason?
Looking to go during the middle of the week her pretty soon.

I'm sure it's nothing like Disney.

We were there today but didn't go in the park. However, I heard an employee say that he's seen mortuaries that were busier than Knott's was today.

I went last saturday and the longest wait was for Ghostrider and it took 3 cars to get on (10 minutes). Crowd are non-existant.

Yep, it's true. No crowds. I find that kind of amazing since the annual pass is only $59.

I've been gone for over a week, I come back home and EVERYONE has a Knotts Pass!!! And I mean EVERYONE! Im thinking about jumping onto bandwagon and getting one. But I bet once it will start to become crowded eventually because the passes are so cheap. I personally am not a huge fan of Knotts like I use to be in the past, but we shall see!

But I will DEF continue to have my Disney pass!

Me either, but I have great memories of going there as a kid and I enjoy taking my 3-year old son, who loves Camp Snoopy, the Log Ride and the Calico Mine Ride.

My fingers are crossed that Knott's will return to its former glory.

Even then it's STILL a great place to go. I mean $59 season passes, really? Especially with super short waits, you can get in some good coaster riding. I'm all about that.

Thanks for the info! Tonight a friend told me I'd have to pay $14 everytime I visit the park, bc Knotts didnt offer the parking pass! I suppose he was pulling my leg!

Re: Knotts: How busy during offseason?

Spent Sunday at Knott's with by new Brother-in-law, some places were busier than others. Camp Snoopy being one... looks like a lot of families were in the parks.

Of course, the Season Pass lines were long, but it was nice to see Knott's sending out both Peantuts Characters and the Stunt Show Cowboys to entertain the crowds while they waited to getre SP's processed.

But once again, we have entered the "slow season".

Also one major point, the "low end" Disneyland passes for SoCal's are blocked out a lot of the time, but not on Sunday's. And wait until the summer, when the DLR SoCal passes are blocked out. Should be an very interesting time the summer at Knott's.

Free 3 hour parking in the lot south of Ghost Rider. On most days 3 hours is more than enough at Knotts. Worst case, exit prior to 3 hours and re-enter lot off of Cresent for another 3 hours.

We never do the parking pass because 99% of the time, the 3 hour free parking is plenty to get things done in the Farm. And, has already been mentioned, you can always do a quick car re-park without too much hassle if it's going to be over 3 hours.
