Great picture but the best part is that you know all the little fishies by name.

          Wailea

First thing after landing we headed to Mama's Fish House. Where we had the best seafood I've ever eaten.
          Mama's

          View from our table

          The wonderful Mai Tais

A coconut tree on the beach

The view from our hotel room lanai. From which we could actually watch the whales

Sunset from the lanai. I really think we have better sunsets here in Seal Beach, though.

A nice picture of a rainbow

Molokini and Kaho'olawe from the hotel

          A Zebra Dove

          Flowers

Coastline in front of our room

A Green Sea Turtle right off the beach

Some of the many whales we saw from our room and the beach

          Hotel pools

The Serenity Pool. Which gives the illusion of stretching out into the ocean

          Simply the best ice cream

          Lily Pond

And, a trip back to Mama's. This time it's a Passion Fruit Colada.

On St. Patrick's Day we took a trip up the side of the Haleakala volcano to visit the Tedeschi Winery. Purveyors of pineapple wine.

Sugar cane fields along the side of the road

The view of Molokini and Kaho'olawe from well up the mountain

              We arrive at the winery

              And to the tasting room

              Some of the wines

              Pineapple

              Pineapple with Passion Fruit

              Sparkling Pineapple

And, they have started growing grapes to make wine, also. This was a very nice Syrah

Then a stroll through the grounds.

The tasting room from up the hill a bit

A picture of King Kamehameha they have up

I loved this Green Jade Flower so much I may mail order some to plant at home

              The Old Jailhouse

              Statue

And, a tree that was just full of Staghorn Ferns

Next up Lahaina and the Luau
