  • Trip Report Skydiving in Lodi, California

Hey guys! So yesterday I had the opportunity to drive to Lodi in Northern California and go skydiving. This was my first time and I'm sure its on a lot of your bucket lists. Anyways I went to the Parachute Center which only costs $100 for a tandem jump. I thought this was a really great deal because other places charge in the $200. I purchased the picture package at first, but after doing the jump and seeing the video I opted to buy the video as well.

First let me say that I have a fear of planes. But I'm the sort of person that doesn't let my fears get the best of me. I must say though, the plane part was the worst for me. The jump itself was amazing!!! The surrounding area is of a lot of farm land, but its still a breath taking sight to see when you are free falling to the ground from 13,000 feet at 80MPH!

So I thought I would share the video they took and some photos. I think everyone should experience this for themselves, there is nothing else like this feeling in the world!

It is a thrill beyond comprehension, and that is a real steal for a double! Pics are amazing as is the video. The inspiring part is that you overcame your fear of planes to do it. Congrats

Congrats on your first jump and overcoming your fears! I jumped from the same place in Lodi about three years ago. It's one of those slightly scary but fun experiences.

I loved it because the place had such a hippie vibe. Its nice to see a fellow Northern California Micechatter!
