  • Video Staples center got a new $10 million HD Scoreboard. Lakers no more curtain

    Hey guys,

I recently went to watch the Lakers this past weekend and saw that they got a new 10 million dollars jumbo-tron scoreboard. The next expensive scoreboard in an arena in the U.S is Boston which cost them 3 millions.

It looks tight! because of the new scoreboard they are no longer doing the curtain drop-down intro for the Lakers like they always do before the game start.

So here's the video of the HD scoreboard intro for the Lakers that I recorded:

Cool video ... I noticed when I was at Staples last month for a concert that the entire scoreboard was gone and was wondering why. I know it's generally just raised up for concerts. Guess they were getting ready to put in the new one.
