  • [Pictures] Seaworld Australia

Visited Seaworld Australia today with the intention of checking out the new Castaway Bay attractions. Strategically I left my DSLR at home; so heres a few photos snapped on the phone.

With sister park, Movieworld upping the anti with their Halloween event, Seaworld is starting to dabble in the family friendly affair.

    Halloween merch.

The main reason for a visit on a wonderfully sunny day was to check out the new Castaway Bay area.

A welcome cool down. The new Battle Boats attraction.

Also part of the new additions is Sky Fortress. A jungle jim on steroids.
It was fun, with some tight squeezes, but certainly surpassed my expectations. This was a quick construction process, but different for our local parks we spent some time climbing around like kids!

Also new at Seaworld as of the past school holidays, is Happy Feet 3D -- another 3D shortened rehash of the film (like Journey to the Centre of the Earth at Movieworld).

Because it has no affiliation with the US parks.

          That is unfortunate for you.
I dont doubt that you may have been told the correct info... but when we were there, there was no sign of staff, nor signage with that age restriction. There were adults and kids everywhere inside. It great to see families having so much fun together - it would be a shame to prevent the atmosphere that we experienced. It was quite fun despite the tight squeeze, which lead me to believe that it would be age restricted.

The website just says: Guests must not exceed the maximum weight restriction of 130kgs.
