  • How busy has Knotts been?

Going to be in the area this weekend, and between Carmaggedon and the Dland summer crowds we figured we might as well put our Knotts season passes to use.

How has it been lately? We're taking my mother in law who has never been so I'm hoping it's a mild, easy going day.

Desires should not be hindered, no matter how difficult life might appear to be.
If you fail, don't cease; keep going, keep trying.
Giving up is never an option.

It's been fairly busy. It's a tad bit less busy than Disneyland, but don't expect any walk-ons.

I have to say that when I went a couple of times about a month ago, I was surprised how busy it was every time. I was getting used to having the park to myself, but it seems people are rediscovering it again. Although I say good for Knotts!
Does anyone even bother with signatures anymore?

You can sleep in and still get there for an uncrowded couple of hours right after it opens at 10am.

Hit your favorite ride and the log ride first, and hit many of the shows in the afternoon.

If it's hot, avoid the Wild West Stunt Show unless you can sit in the splash area front and center or in one of the covered wagons. Don't miss "All Wheels Extreme" show. I also like Mystery Lodge and the summer version of the Saloon show. I like sitting upstairs by the rail. (Too bad the ordinary beer is so overpriced at the bar.) Take the time to visit the many different artists at work in the ghost town. Bring frozen water bottles.

Don't expect perfection and have a great time!
