  • Should I add a SFMM day to my DLR trip?

I am heading to the DLR this weekend (from NorCal) for a quick two day trip. We are heading back Monday and I was thinking about a quick stop off at SFMM. I haven't been there since before Superman. How busy is it on Monday's? I was hoping to hit up as many rides as possible before continuing the ride home. Any tips or tricks to share?

Shouldn't be busy AT ALL, but there also might be some closed stuff.

yes, don't count on X to be open. Superman and Ninja don't open till at least 11am. Roaring Rapids might not be open, and FreeFall, too. But all coasters should be open, except, of course Flashback and possibly X. Definetly ride Tatsu, it will blow you away!

I was there last week on a Monday and it was dead. All coasters were open and all had a 1 car wait or walk-on. Very cool. If you have not been since Superman, GO! They have added a lot of great new coasters!!! I was the same last time I went and it was great to see all the new stuff!

Yeah, maybe it will be worth it. I guess tix through AAA are only 30 bucks right now. Thanks for the info.

If you live in NorCal, get the Season Pass, it is good at both Six Flags Magic Mountain, and SF Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo. So that is one day at each park, and all the return visits would be free.
