Sorry, but I can't get excited by another large American coporation being so eager for bucks that they sell their souls to nations run by evildoers.

We received a letter from Cunard this week stating that HMS Queen Elizabeth II will leave the Cunard fleet in late 2008 and be transferred to ownership by the Government of Dubai and be permanently anchored as a floating hotel in the Palm Island complex. Our family has sailed on QE2 for more than 40 years, and we are saddened at this outcome. We have sailed on QM2, and were extraordinarily disappointed at the experience. Small cabins, even at the level just below penthouse, overworked staff, and shoddy interior fittings showing wear after only a short time in service.
