    I am a Monster!

    Hello Everyone!
    I am a Knott's Scary Farm Monster and saw that some of you are planning on visiting on the 29th. I, also, work at Disneyland every other month besides October, for obvious reasons.
    I know this my not be the best place to post this, but if any of you are interested in saying hello. I am going to be located in the Gauntlet (Camp Snoopy). Ask for Creeper! Thank you and hope to see you all soon!

    One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said, "Disneyland burned down."

    He cried and cried, but I think that deep down, he thought it was a pretty good joke.

    I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.

    Congrats on what must be one of the most fun seasonal jobs ever! I hope you have a great time. Is this your 1st year as a monster? Also, when/where are tryouts?

      the Haunt New Hire event is usually held the beginning of August, a lot of the new hires camp out the night before and its like a fun party atmosphere.

      I hope to get to experience it myself one of these years before i get too old to give it a whirl

        You can never be too old. I was 41 when I was first a monster. And have had individuals as old as 68, working for me.

                      Haunt is going great this year! This is my fourth year and my first year in makeup. It is hard to balance the long hours with school work, but I seem to do it every year!

                          Congrates!!!! I was the Headless Horseman (followed the stage around ) during the '91 haunt. Worked double shifts (Stagecoach driver during the day, Horseman at night) and had the time of my life!!!

                          Used to think..."Ok, they're PAYING ME to have this much fun?"

                                Because I was also a stagecoach hire...and the Headless Horseman was under that Dept. Yup..got paid and got paid well.

                                But, got to admit...some of the reactions were worth their weight in gold!!!
