  • Virgin Atlantic?

Has anyone here used Virgin to fly overseas? I just bought plane tickets to England and I'm hoping I made the right choice. Thoughts, feedback?

Well I haven't, but have heard nothing but great things.

Here's their Economy Class section showing what you get:

I think it's nice they give Economy passengers an amenity kit. Eyeshades and earplugs are your friend on those long flights.

And it looks like they have lots for the kids to do to:

Nintendo games and special kids meals, that's pretty cool.

That's why I picked them. They seemed the most kid-friendly. I can travel on the cheap for myself, but I want to make sure that JP has a great time, so after looking at a mega-cheap (and slightly sketchy) carrier, we went with them instead.

my husband and i always fly with Virgin Atlantic! You do get the little pack that comes with socks and eye shades and tooth brush, etc.

the flight attendents were soooo nice! and their planes are awesome because you have your own personal tv screen on the seat in front of you! although...on our way to England (as that's where my hubby is from..), the little controller you got aloud you to watch whatever movie or show from al ist of them...where as on the way back....they all had set times they were being shown, and you had to wait for one to finish before watching the next.

but either way, the airline is by far the best..IMO :-D

what part of England are you headed to?

I've heard lots of great things about them. My SIL flies with them when she goes to England.

virgin are great, though the planes can be a little run down.
would still fly with them though, planning to in october.

on a side note what you doing on this side of the pond?
