We were at Magic Mountain the weekend of Valentine's day. While we were in line for Goliath some one threw some trash towards the trash can. They didn't quite make it in. My son who is 12 reached over and picked it up and threw it in the trash can. When we got on to the ride the employee on the ride said to my son "Excuse me, I need you to come here please! I saw what you did." My son thought he was in trouble (hehe!) the employee then said. "Thank you so much for helping keep our park clean. And for doing so you and your family get to go to the front of the line on any ride." My son did it just to be nice. But I really thought it was nice that the employee noticed and thanked my son! I have really noticed the last few times I have been to Magic Mountain that they are really trying to make the park a nicer place to visit!

That is very nice of MM, they have really changed the way the park is percieved, and I am more then happy for that.

I'm very glad that MM is moving forward in changing their image. It may take a while, but at least they are getting somewhere.

Sounds like you've done a great job raising your son!

They really aren't kidding around about making the park a nicer place to visit. I always see management walking around the park with clamps to pick up trash and it's not just for show as I've seen them pick up papers and cups and whatnot.

I just renewed my Premium Pass for SFMM and noticed that they offer Six Flags Funatics a one-day free use of the electronic "Flash Pass" front of the line device that allows users to have preferred reserved seating on many of the coasters. I noticed this AFTER I renewed my pass and it was a great perk! Already a registered Funatic. Thanks SFMM! You really seem to care about your Season Passholders.

                  That's really great that

A: Your son threw it away when somebody else coudn't bother
B: The employee not only saw, but recognized that he did that.

I agree, the Six Flags parks that I've visited the past few years have really done a good job in keeping the park clean and you see Management around all the time, not just when the press is there.
