sleeping in front of six flags to ride the new coaster, and then wait in line for 4 hours? check out Darkbeer's photos and see the people sleeping on the cold hard cement... I just don't get it, it is a 3 minute ride and a overnight wait... were you or would you sleep there to ride it?

If given the choice, I would take my comfy warm bed over what bragging rights I would gain from the experience. I'll be at SFMM on Saturday to ride Tatsu, which is the day it opens to the public, and that's good enough for me.

I would do it if my house was right across the street...

But then I'd be sleeping in front of Six Flags every night.

I'd never wait that long but that's for hard core fans. I've never camped out for anything. Course I just don't camp!

The only thing I'll camp out for these days is a U2 concert.

No, never Six Flags. Great God NO! But I might think about it for Disney if they had a new hotel, or new theme park opening up.

If I was young, Had friends with me, was a coaster fanatic and life was simple, heck yeah. but alas I am an old fart, work for a living, live to far away and coasters scare the crap out of me. but to you all who did good for you

I'd camp out at a park. What a great thing to never have to go home. Plus thing of the bragging rights, plus, the whole expirience of being in a park at 4am to ride a rollercoaster...so cool!

No, I would not sleep in front of Six Flags for a new roller coaster ride.

I personally wouldn't. But if you're a die hard coaster lover...why the heck not? Just like some Disney fanatic folks who slept at DCA to be one of the firsts to get into Disneyland on the actual 50th Anniversary (I showed up at 6AM) or those who slept at Disneyland to get into DCA. Whatever floats your boat!

Re: honestly... would you sleep in front of Six Flags?

I think I'd show up very early the day of, but I would probably not sleep in the lot.
I had a Season Pass for 6 Flags for two years, but opted this year to buy the DL AP because it would take less gas to drive to Anaheim and I didn't make it out to 6 flags very much last season.
I'm kinda sad that I don't have a 6 flags pass this year, or that Knott's pass... But oh well I now have Disneyland.
What I really want are some Angels season tickets! Or some new Raging Waters passes...
"Peter," she asked, trying to speak firmly, "what are your exact feelings to me?"
"Those of a devoted son, Wendy."
"I thought so," she said, and went and sat by herself at the extreme end of the room.
