Good news for thrill-seekers: Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia and its stomach-churning roller-coaster collection will operate every day of the year, starting Jan. 1.

The expansion represents an attempt to transition from a niche regional theme park to a major destination resort like Southern California rivals Universal Studios Hollywood and the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim.

Interesting development. They probably have enough space to add a few hotels and other resort amenities just like Cedar Point.

Makes Sense, the park was very crowd since I''ve been going for the past year and with the new DC ride open should be busy as long as they keep adding interesting rides

This is good news. Since I theme park on weekdays in the off season, it's never been worth my while to get a membership until now.
