USH no more room?

is it safe to say there is no more land for new attractions in and around USH ? also anyone notice there are very few giveways (park tickets) Disneyland seems to give more ticket give aways than USH....i find that interesting.

There is a LOT of room ... but making more space for the park means taking away space from the studio. And that's not something the company is willing to do (at least not right now).

You also have the "neighbor situation" at the park, moreso than at Disneyland.

Re: ticket giveaways. When you can spend $69 and get the rest of this year and practically ALL of next year, I see that as a huge giveaway. I dont see Disney doing that. Plus USH does things like give you 6 months free in addition to the regular 12 months when you renew annual passes. They gave out a free guest ticket when you purchased an annual pass this summer.

USH announced their vision plan a while back. While its not happening tomorrow, it will be a complete restructuring over time of certain areas of the property. Included in this was expansion for the theme park. Remember, USH is a theme park built in and around a working studio. The studio was there first. That's the real experience they are providing first and foremost, through the Studio Tour attraction, which is the signature of the park.

People seem to forget that Universal is a movie studio, first and foremost. The theme park is something added to the side.

A poster above pretty much summed up the ticket situation. They do have specials and deals but they don't advertise nearly as much as Disney does so not a lot of people know about it.

USH gives a lot of tickets away through charitable organizations, such as Make A Wish Foundation, and they've done many promotions with different radio and tv outlets.

As for space for the park to expand, according to the NBC Universal Evolution Plan, the park could gain a net of 146,000 sq. ft. of attraction space; much of this would come from replacing the Gibson Amphitheater with a smaller venue.

Thanks guys...for all the answers. I used to have a season pass. I wonder if they are still giving you a guest pass if you get a season pass....hum...i might get one now....I would love to see Universal Studios expand. I like Universal. Its seems like being a fan of universal is Tabboo in a city with several parks.
