  • King Kong 360 3-D Concept Art..Film Director Peter Jackson Discusses Immersive Ride

Film writer Peter Jackson's discription of Universal's King Kong 360 3-D experience (or shall we say "encounter") comes across rather intense. As you travel through the stage, prepare to get banged around side to side and from above when the Dinosaurs from Skull Island attack your tram. The entire sound stage will literally become a jungle.

The King just back from Vegas (no, not Elvis) makes the ride even rougher as he battles them dinos with you caught in the middle.

Sounds awesome. Can't wait to experience it on my next California trip (which will be in only 2-3 years, sadly).

By the way, Peter Jackson has lost a lot of weight. He was pretty tubby when he directed LOTR (love that trilogy, big fan, big fan).

Looks like Jackson is having an engaging and fun experience with the King Kong attraction. He must feel that he carries more weight when trimmed down.

Lookin forward to checking it out!

But... definitely feeling the strain of "too much 3D" in a park with Shrek 3D, Terminator 3D.... and the upcoming Transformers 3D.

Don't think of a gun as a weapon.
Think of it as a third arm that magically
          shoots bullets!
