It's already in employee testing. July 1st also happens to be my birthday. I think I'll take a half day at work and go see the big ape.

I wish he was still an animatronic, but perhaps the new experience will be an ok substitute.

Any word on AP previews? If not, I might just decide not to renew my AP until next Summer so I'll have my AP when Transformers opens in 2012.

^any rumors that Ap's will get to go on Kong early?

PS I'm working on a King Kong Tribute, putting together clips of the ride and fire along with some cool behind the scenes stuff.

We've been told nothing of AP previews yet. If there were going to be AP previews they probably would have been announced on the free 3D Kong cup postcard.

                      BOOOOO!!!!
Don't know if I should renew my pass or not, even if it is for 18 months.
I'm excited for Kong and SES but it's not something I'd necessarily run out to the park to go see immediately like I did recently for WOC.
What do you guys think? Just visit during HHN and renew next summer?

^depends, I have a pass and will be renewing it in September since 120.00 for 15 months is a great deal and i go twice a month (meaning it cost me 5 bucks to go and parking)
Also here is my King Kong Tribute enjoy!

Doubtful you'll see AP preview. Since it's part of the studio tour, that would mean having to do AP only trams. I would think too much work to check each and every guest getting on a tram for an AP.

And don't forget almost every guest that comes through the turnstiles already has an AP since the cost of one is the same as a one day admission.

This works out perfectly as I'm already taking the day off anyway, now I can swing by Universal and check out King Kong.
