  • PHOTO: Santa Kong (2002)

Today I went through the folder of pictures that I've taken, and came across this very rare and interesting find.
I remembered that in 2002, the Studio Tour installed a holiday overlay to the now extinct King Kong portion of the tour. They dressed Kong up as "Santa Kong", had fake snow falling, put lights on the buildings, and were even showing "It's a Wonderful Life" instead of the emergency news report.
I had told this story to this very forum, and they didn't believe me.... well now, there is photo proof!!

As you can clearly see, there is snow falling... he is holding a candy cane, too. There are also lights on the nearby building.
    Believe me now?
I hope you enjoy this find as much as I did!
