Here are a few pictures I took of the Transformers Ride construction at Universal Studios Hollywood on Friday.

(Edit: I mistyped the title as I was making the thread. These pictures were taken on 3/18/11)

I don't get to Universal as much as I used to before I moved to Orange County, so I had not been there in a while. I'm really looking forward to this ride, something I don't think I've ever said about anything new at Universal, except for maybe Jurassic Park.

This ride is going to be a game changer for USH, almost to the magnitude that Forbidden Journey was in IOA.

^would not go that far but I'm sure it will draw people in but they need more rides its that simple if they want attendance to increase year round but I don't think they care too much with City Walk being so popular and the movie set they built being used sooo much they rather just get some good money from the Summer Crowds, and HHN crowds
              Happy Halloween!!!

I would go that far. Even Kong 360 has increased attendance. Granted they did promote the hell out of it as an individual experience and not just a part of the tram. Transformers has got the biggest budget of any ride at USH, even passing TLM's budget at DCA. (i've been hearing the budget ranges from about 160-180m for Transformers from multiple people).

Why would they not care if the park has good attendance AND how on earth does City Walk in any way effect Universal's attendance? Most people that visit city walk are people that are visiting the park as well.

How do the movie set's being used effect the park!? People go to the park to SEE the movie sets being used! It's a movie studio park!

I was there last week, and it was crowded.

The whole reason for the 3 billion dollar Universal Evolution project is to turn Universal into a real vacation resort with a first class theme park/resort. They wouldn't be doing that if they didn't care about the parks performance.
