    Stupid.

The rafts (at least at USH) come down the drop every 20-30 seconds (if not sooner) and the boy could have been easily stuck by the raft, pulled under the water and dragged all the way to the unload station.

I imagine there must be cameras around that area watching for that exact thing and would e-stop the ride of it was seen...it just doesn't make sense to me that at the most public part of the ride there wouldn't be at least 3-4 camera and an e-stop button just for that occasion

I hope he was ejected from the park and charged with trespassing. Six Flags Over Georgia is now littered by barbed wire and big ugly signs because of a fool like this (who was not so lucky).

Which award always has the most nominees?

            The Darwin Awards.

This is a pretty old video, so it's anyone's guess whether or not this kid has won his yet.

The ride was closed the day this was filmed, and then the uploader edited in footage of the ride working from another time. So, other than drowning and getting caught in the mechanics..... He really wasn't in any danger.

I know it sounds horrible but if you are going to put your life in danger for a little hat then you simply don't deserve to be on the planet.
I would never in a million years do something like that. Complete idiot.

The ride wasn't closed that day. I know a couple people who were working there and recall this incident. They E-stopped the moment he hit the water. The footage of the ride running was likely shot that very day.
