If anybody know how many ride vehicles there are in transformers the ride
I've herd 12 but I don't know if that's true
There's gotta be a tad more than 12 but you could count them yourself... Each car has a number on them. Write down each number you see until you start seeing repeats if you want to hang around the station that long...
Yeah, I hear ya. And no biggy I've probably been on over 35 times, collectively. I just can't get over how they dampened the movement. It was AMAZING April 19th, now it's just meh...
I don't know... I've been on it about 20 times, and I don't mind it being tamed down a bit. Early on in the soft openings, it almost made me sick, and I doubt I would have done many repeat rides. Now it's very repeatable, and I really don't think much of the thrills have been sacrificed.
I assume their goal was not to make a thrill ride per se, but something most of the family can ride together. Damping it makes it meet that goal much better. Why alienate a large part of your guests?
The ride system is near perfection. If only Indy had a system this smooth.
Here are the ride stats:
Ride Length: about Four minutes long Height Restrictions: 48” tall to ride alone; 40” to ride accompanied Front of Line: Gate A (Universal's front of line program) and Single Rider line Track Length: 2000 ft Top Speed: Simulated speeds up to 60mph Vehiclesweight: 12,000lbs Vehicle onboard sound: 5,000 watts of sound, 14 channel audio Practical Effects: Strobe, Water, Heat, Fog HD3D Screens : 14 total, maximum height: 60', front, rear and compound curve screens Projectors: 34
MiceChat 101: Be NICE! If you don't play well with others, you are in the wrong sandbox.
Correct. Although we can only have a max of 15 vehicles on the track at one time.
EDIT: Also I don't believe the movements were ever toned down. They surely tried to make things seem a bit smoother, if that's what you mean.
Hmm, I guess it just happens to be where I sit then. I just like the off-balance feeling like your being jerked around on the turns so I try and sit on the front or rear edges although during soft-opening there were a tad less people so perhaps the weight of the people takes a bit of the jerkiness away, I dunno. But that's a really interesting fact, one I assume can be pulled for maintenance...
But also one other thing that bugs me a bit is the fact that The Dark Side of The Moon theme no longer plays as you go under Megatron's remains. I feel as though the Autobot theme (which seems to have replaced it), although more recognizable is anti-climatic. Would anyone happen to know if this is just a malfunction or if it has officially replaced the other theme? I've heard from NEST Employees that they switch back and forth.
