They say that this is the house for the new "Munsters" show. Its built on the backside of the old chicken ranch. The original Munsters House is still around the corner on Colonial St.

It's only for the pilot.

I've brought this question up to some of my VIP tour guide buddies, but the Facade is directly on the main tram route. They can always reroute the tram, but it would be a big hassle in this case as this street connects Jaws and Wisteria Lane to WhoVille and Pyscho.

No, but there is concept art. The reboot is supposed to be darker than the original, and is supposed to be "American Horror Story that the whole family can enjoy"

How disappointing that they are not updating the classic universal monsters or even using the more familiar iteration of 1313 Mockingbird Lane. At least they aren't using the monsters that were in Van Helsing, talk about wasting the legacy.

In keeping with the purported darker atmosphere and feal of the reboot, the house in the new concept art definitly looks more eerie than the original show. Just imagine what the producers will capable of doing with today's advanced special effects!

I saw the set via the studio tour recently, and it looks better in person.
