Annual Passholder discounted tickets for guests?

Hi I was just trying to find some discounted tickets to Universal Studios for our upcoming So. Cal trip and I'm having no luck.

I did run across $15 off for Annual Pass guests and you can purchase them directly off the USH website but when I called to see if they were legit I was told you have to have an AP with you to use the tickets and enter.

Does anyone know how true this is? Or will they let us in if I show up with the tickets and no annual passholder?

If they say you need an AP...they may ask for one...so I'd just keep looking for deals until you go

I believe Coca-Cola was recently doing a $15 off deal as well. I don't think you can buy em in advance but it's not like you have to worry about the park selling out or anything.

Yes, you WILL need the AP holder with you, and you need the pass number to purchase them online in the first place I'm pretty sure. Try Costco, apparently they have cheap tickets there. Or the Coke can option that was mentioned.

I'm not a AAA member so I don't know if I can use their discount.

I just wanted them online so I'd know I'd have them set in stone and not rushing around to get tix last minute.

I'm also having a friend check if she can get me tix through her commissary on base. We'll see.

oh yea, on base is 15 dollars off and 12 months for free. just be warned that you will need to stop by the annual pass center if you get them on base. or buy tickets from costco if you like as well.

If we get the ones off base they don't make you show military ID when you redeem them do they? Still waiting for my friend to get back to me.

nope, the person could have purchased the ticket for family they knew was going out. we honestly do not even need ID, but it does make the processing SO much easier. it is one of the best deals around. Or if you have a costco (or a friend who does) i have seen 2 and 5 day tickets going for cheap

no problemo i work over at the annual pass center sometimes so its just knowlodge i can spread to people.
