City Walk amc IMAX

I wanted to know if the City Walk (Hollywood) IMAX is a true, the real deal BIG Imax. And if you can list the REAL locations in LA featuring Imax and their screen sizes.

I'm asking this because i went to my local Imax which turned out to be a fake bootleg gimmick and a waste of $.

It lists Universal Citywalk AMC Imax as being 15/70 which is a real full Imax system and not a digital "Liemax" system.

It's the best Imax I've ever seen...the AMC there is just one of the best theaters around in general

Our local IMAX is the Digital IMAX yet they charge the full IMAX price. Lame.

Which is why we don't pay for IMAX.

Also the one in Anaheim Garden walk is also true IMAX. I've seen Mission Impossible @ the Block of Orange IMAX and think the screen is huge too.

Gardenwalk is NOT a true 15/70 "GT" IMAX, Irvine Spectrum is the only true IMAX in the OC.

Yes CityWalk is indeed a true IMAX, but most films they show truncate the picture so the full screen isn't being utilized.

Before the influx of every single blockbuster being distributed on IMAX, they used to show actual short-subject IMAX films which honestly is the best use of the format. The extremely large screen is much too daunting and unnecessary for anything over an hour in my opinion.
