Heck I don't even know if they could do it by then....I guess they really think Transformers will pack people in for the next year and a half

Re: T2:3d
It better not be Despicable Me. I rode the ride last month and it was a meh. We don't need another Animation film ride.
We need live action for the adults! We already have Shrek and the Simpsons. And soon Water world will be torn down.
By the way, what the heck with freaking 3d/4D show at Universal?! I want more real live props show not projection show.Last edited by SoCalbma; 10-18-2012, 02:18 PM.

When I was first told about T23D closing at the beginning of the year, opening day was "spring 2013". IDK how much the timeline has changed between then and now, but if the new attraction doesn't require tearing down the existing complex it could easily be opened before Summer.Happy Halloween!!!

Re: T2:3d
So open by next summer makes sense. 2 summers of Transformers, and then the new Despicable Me (open just in time for the sequel) with play area, just as the other side of the park goes under the knife.Get the latest and greatest theme park news by

No! No God please no! No! No! NOOOOOOO!!!
What a travesty and tragedy if they are gunna close T2:3D. Even worse if they're going to replace it with Despicable Me. God, what a disgusting dissapointment! What's next?! The destruction of the beloved E.T. in Orlando?! :crybye::rant::yuck::!$#%::verymad::bang:

We saw this Terminator attraction on Saturday. Everything about it was excellent,
except that I wanted to warn Sara Connor, "Don't trust him! He'll cheat on you then write a book about it and even keep the profits from this book."
But I suggest that everyone catch this excellent attraction before it goes away.
As the corporate hostess of this attraction says: Suuuuuper!
