  • Are Cell Phones Allowed in the WDFM?

My wife and I are planning to visit San Francisco in June for our Anniversary.
I read that cameras are not allowed.
Do they ask you to keep your iphone outside also?
Do they require you to rent lockers to store your camera?
We won't have a car to lock it away.
Any pointers as to the Presidio or the Museum?

They let you take photos in the first gallery with Walt's awards. When I went over the summer they let a member in my group take his iPhone in.
They said just not to take photos. Have fun!!
Take a look at some of my models I make at

Re: Are Cell Phones Allowed in the WDFM?

I just visited for my first time about 3 weeks ago, and they said I could take all the pics I wanted, just not to use flash. Not sure if their policy changed, because I seem to remember first hearing they didn't allow pics as well.
Does anyone even bother with signatures anymore?

Yes, the Museum's photo policy just changed a couple of months ago. Pictures are allowed in the galleries now, just no flash.
