Word is that the die hard goths are planing on a Bats Day in The Park on Sunday August 22nd. 2010

Yes, we already had Bats Day in May this year. But it would seem we don't need much of an excuse to have one again, other than it use to be in August.
I know a bunch of us hearse club folks will be there. How about you?

    See you there!

OOPS! I was half asleep when I posted so I put the wrong date in the title.
It should have read Unofficial Bats Day in The Park 8/22/10. Instead I put 9/22/10. Me bad.
So mark your calendars for August 22nd. Put on your dress blacks and we'll see you in Anaheim.

Benefit Scavenger Hunt at Disneyland on 8/29 PLEASE ATTEND & PASS THE WORD ON TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!
Thanks. P.S. The registration time has been extended to the 26th.
You don't have to be a goth to care, just a person with a heart.

The following was cut & pasted from Welcome to the Official Bats Day in the Fun Park Website latest news.

Benefit for 19-year veteran Knott’s Halloween Haunt Monster Sandy Graham
It has been brought to our attention about this and wanted to pass this info on to you.

Sandy Graham was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 1996 and had surgery. Most of the tumor was removed. In 2009, the tumor had grown back and another surgery was needed on April 1st, 2010. On July 14, 2010, the prognosis was that the tumor is already growing back and she has an estimated 1 - 2 years left with us. There are many more medications/surgeries she can try and possibly prolong her prognosis but all are at a great cost!

The purpose of the Benefit Scavenger hunt is to raise funds to assist with Sandy's medical expenses and over all care.

This benefit is happening on August 29th, 2010 from 9am-7:30pm @ Disneyland.
This event is not affiliated with the Walt Disney Company. You must register to participate:
Registration is $20.00 per team. Teams are groups of 2 - 4 people.

The proceeds will be donated to Sandy!! Any other donations are welcome!

Registration has already begun and ends on August 15th. The registration fee CAN be paid in advance or on the day of the event (August 29, 2010). Please visit Registration for the link to Paypal to pay in advance with a credit card.
