The park hours for DL R 9 AM as well as DCA does that mean the rally is 9-9? or 9-8? Thanks

Last year's Rally ended at 7pm.

My rally buddy is going to be 30+ weeks pregnant this year and plus it kind of sucks that the price has more then doubled for the teams of two this year... No bueno! Might as well get a team of 4 at that point and our spouses have pretty much said Arendale would have to freeze over first before that happened....So we are going to have to pass this year..

Is there a thread for the team names? If not, I'm here to say that Wilderness Explorers are ready to find adventure! I competed two years ago with Jungle Cruise Jedi, but I am the only returning member this year. My daughter has her birthday the week before the rally, and did a serious sales pitch for this to be her birthday present. No arm twisting needed! We're coming to rally!

1. Be prepared for anything -- that's what I've always told teams that ask me questions about the rules. Single rider, for example, is one that has been changed in different years and is most often announced during Dusty's explanation of the rules on Rally morning.
2. Electronic devices - generally, that means anything that can connect you to the internet - but hopefully, Dusty or Mamabot can post a clarification before rally day on that
3. Hopefully, there will be a best team name and best team shirt contest thread starting soon
4. WELCOME DisNeeGeek! What a great birthday gift for your daughter! My last time doing the rally was with my daughter and it was a crazy day but we had a lot of fun.

Oh my goodness! Big question, are we running both parks again this year? Seriously, I am shaking all over and feeling like getting sick. I don't know if I'm feeling good enough for that. I'm worried about one park as my health stands now. My brain and heart says YES you can. Someoone please let me know. I am so excited for my most looked forward to event of the year.

The only sources we are allowed to use for information on wait times for attractions are the boards in the middle of the parks that show several of the attractions that you have to physically walk to, or the sign posted at the actual ride with the wait time listed. No phones/internet capable devices are allowed, so no Ask Otto or other wait time checker apps. And we're not allowed to get help from Cast Members, so no guest services either. Keeps us all in the same boat Good luck and have fun!

Hi all, this is my first year at the rally (just moved to the area and became an AP last summer). I'm so excited to participate!

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on parking. If the official opening time of the DLR lots are 90 minutes before park open, that seems kind of tight to make it to registration before 8am. What are other people planning to do? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

My team was beyond excited to be part of the Gumball Rally this year, I can't begin to tell you how disappointed we were with the race. I didn't know it was possible to suck all of the fun out of a race and the Disneyland Resort, but this event somehow succeeded doing it in spades. Where to begin, could it be the fact that you could only do one park at a time and not hop or was it the fact that every ride was worth only one point? Then, the real kicker...no fast passes. Basically instead of enjoying the park, you spend the whole day waiting in lines that you could have easily avoided. Soooooo sad. I expected more and certainly demand it for the price. I could have saved the money, used fast passes and had a much more enjoyable day. I feel like someone just told me my grandpa died, that's how disappointed I am. Bad show Micechat. Bad show.

I think the Gumball Rally this year was fantastic!!! We didn't come into the race with a lot of strategy so the twists were fun for us. We got to ride "smaller" rides that sometimes we skip on regular park outings. I think the twists really provided a level playing field for all teams and I ALWAYS have fun while at the parks.
