  • Micechat June 25th meet - "The meet that kinda wasn't"

Today's meet was kind of funny to watch. I saw Captain Phoebus, Wolfy, DarkBeer, of course CrazyLegs, and Sadako, who was super nice, considering she was sleep deprived. Oh, and I finally got to see Pixie Chick live and in person! Finally. There were many others, whose names I am forgetting, or don't know, or didn't see, or forgot to mention.

However, once word got out that Pirates was open, you've almost never seen people scatter from the main group faster. The last words I heard from CrazyLegs as she wheeled off was something like "if Pirates is open, no, I don't want to go eat somewhere!"

An exciting day to be in the park, all around!

    Hahah...

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

Oh my gosh,.....still didn't get to meet you! I'd already been on the ride, so off to Splash for the Wolfette and I.
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!

I didn't know you were there, either!! I showed up about 15 minutes later with Grumpy4, sunnygirl, and Anders after our first trip on Pirates. Gah! Next time.

              Awwwww thanks sweetie... I'm still sleep deprived and will be because I want to try to be there tomorrow at opening for the possible POTC dedication ceremony. I'm sorry if I drew a lot of blanks or seemed distant, I was doing my best under the circumstances >_<;;;

I got a few pics of the meet though... I'll add who I know and feel free to add yourself if I forgot (Again, still very sleep deprived girl over here...) XD

              Judimouse and Darkbeer

CaptPhoebus, Crazy Legs, Chernabog and Pixie Chick (In her unofficial Star Wars day T-shirt)

              Pixie chick, Judimouse and RoseRedAngel

Somewhere along the line Crazy Legs happened to find this baby and was on her way to Lost and Found when she got to the meet...

I ended up going to lunch at Cafe Orleans after the meet unlike everyone else who converged unto Pirates. Although by the time I got to Pirates it had closed; but considering I still got to go on it later in the afternoon, I was pretty pleased after being momentarilly dissatisfied.

No, we definitely weren't introduced. I wanted to say hi, although you were busy talking to a couple of people. I think either you jetted out of there first to ride Pirates, or when the group started to fall apart, I just ended up going another way out of the hub, and lost you.

Next time, definitely a big "hi!"

No problem. Enjoy your sleep. But as a quick mini review, did you like it? Or no deal?

Wolfy, I followed your advice about riding Splash in the Single Rider entrance. So nice. Got to ride it twice back-to-back. Sure cooled me down from that awful humidty.

In one sentence: The exact opposite in pretty much every aspect (both the positive and the negative) from the Blue Bayou... it's complicated (as my reviews seems to be), but never fear, all will be explained in time :-D
