  • Long overdue photos from 6/18 (Father's Day) Meet

Sorry, didn't even dump the pics to my machine till Friday...

This is what I was doing right before Bornieo suddenly came out of nowhere at me on his way to the little boys room

Since I waited for him and we rode the tram in together, we were a little late (okay, we weren't on time to begin with), but holy heck, the crowd was long gone at 12:30, so we headed to the west side to catch up with them at Hungry Bear. On the way, I stopped for the obligatory riverfront pics:

    (more to come)

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

Got a couple cool shots of the Pirates queue with no one in it

And (if you don't mind the toes), a couple shots of Walt's and Roy's initials in the balcony railing:

Cafe Orleans, still boarded up at that point

    More premiere stuff

And of course, all that didn't help traffic in the park all week, so they used signs like these

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

      Ah, Critter Country at last!

But the troubles weren't over yet, as Sadako found when she tried to "toss" her salad (dear, it's just a figure of speech, okay?)

What can I say, it was funny!

The MiceChat Mafia... two toughs and a bully

Now, is that Bornieo east and west, or DLRPBopazot east and west? The world may never know.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

Then we "sunk" (took over) a Jungle Cruise boat

Look, it's Scweitzer Falls, named for famed explorer Dr. Albert Falls

They're only dangerous if they're blowing bubbles and wiggling their ears

See that kids? It's what you came to Disneyland to see. The famous, the wonderful BACK SIDE OF WATER!!!! Wolfette doesn't seem too impressed.

Okay, who let Katie in the water again? (J/k Kat, you know we love you!)

        (coming up next... Dole Whips!)

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

            The Dole Whip

Product of many a Micechatter's fantasies and untold internet lore

It can only be found in one place: The Enchanted Tiki Room

Tangaroa appears before Bornieo as a mighty tree... STAND BACK!

The legendary "Big Bird" tiki god

            Pele

Dusty - hey wait a sec, he's not a tiki god!

HM's fastpass area was open for some reason, though it was not in use. Nice chance to get pics of some of the terrific themeing

            See? Told ya

While waiting for folks to arrive at Magnolia Gardens, there was some sort of to-do at the station... medical emergency of some sort

So they had the guests in the station exit out

And brought in CFA nurses to handle it (oops, didn't upload that pic. It sucked anyway. But yay for the nurses!!!!

Random decent pic of the HM gate. I have a better one that really shows off the CM costume, but it's late and I'm too lazy to blur the girl's face, so you get the distant shot

This photo would be funnier if those people hadn't walked through it just as I was taking a picture of Darkbeer taking a picture

More folks arrive at Magnolia Gardens

Then I had to rush out, so I snapped a quick pic of Jane

And another of the Firehouse umm.... however many disney feels like paying these days

Sorry it took me a week to post them!

You take nice photos Morrigoon. I love the shots of the Tiki area.

Thanks Tic Toc. I have to say, I was REALLY pleased with some of the shots. I don't know if the light was just right that day or what, but I definitely took some goodies for my DL archive. I think my favorite is the one of the falls!
