SAVE DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!

If you are upset with the people that are running, I mean RUINING Disneyland, then lets stand together and make DISNEYLAND UNTOUCHABLE!!!

Too long we have watched with anger and frustration as they got rid of classic attractions like the Motor Boat Cruise, Light Magic, and Natures Wonderland....I say, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!!

It is time to draw a line down Main Street with sidewalk chalk!!!!

Disneyland CAN BE SAVED!!!!

Lets save Disneyland from the treacherous hands of WDI and TDA. NO MORE UPDATING ATTRACTIONS!!!!!

WHAT WOULD WALT SAY ABOUT THIS?!?!?!?!?

Lets petition to have a big bubble built over the park and let NOBODY TOUCH OUR SACRED PARK!!!!! IT"S HISTORIC!!!! Lets fight to keep it that way!

A lot of bad decisions have been made lately but there have been a lot of good additions as well. I'm for GOOD change, this petition you suggest is a horrible idea and not possible.

IS this a joke? Seriously even Walt Himself said Disneyland will never be completed as long as there is imagination left in the world... If there was to be a bubble around it and nothing would be touched... where would any new attractions or additions to the park come from? It would kill the imagination in creating new experiences for Disneyland guests

I agree with you to an extent. Sometimes putting a bubble on our park sounds Like a good idea. )

However, I think Walt said something along the lines that the place would never be complete as along as there's imagination. [already been said by Tamasurvivor]

Mistakes happen.

And not to dishonor Walt (who I love, because we would not be at this site w/out him), but there are some good things that have happened to Disneyland that he wasn't part of.

Even he made bad desicions concerning the park.

BTW :yea:I love how you refer to the park as ours. I do feel a little possesive of it a times. Perhaps we all do!

There already is a bubble over part of Disneyland. The TDA building is inside of it.

More and more, I find myself gravitating to the idea that this, indeed, might be a good thing...

It's sad that it has come to this. But the Park has drifted so far away from its ideals that halting all future changes--simply to protect what little remains--might be the only option left for those who truly love the Park, and what it once stood for.

LIke everything else in life you can't let anything stagnate. Everything must progrress, including Disneyland. We all make mistakes including imagineers and including Walt, himself. You ask what would Walt do? Well, I don't think Walt would've ever just sat on his hands. Just look at all the changes in the first few years of the park: Holidayland did not work - it was pulled; Walt's beloved Circus (with the world's largest circus tent) did not work and was pulled.; the flying saucers did not work; etc. There are things that don't work well today. One of the great things about Disneyland is that it is static and dynamic at the same time. We have our fond memories over the years coupled with the excitement of something new. The Nemo ride is a great example: the actual ride is the same as it has been, but the experience has been changed - drastically and all for the better. So, yes, we should save Disneyland and it's great tradition of progressing while exciting and entertaining the customer.

This is exactly why I'm trying to record as much of it as possible now... Because Disneyland will change n there is nothing we can do but enjoy them while we can. It is funny because we say leave it how it was before, don't add or upgrade, while our children are going to be saying the same thing about the disneyland they know and love which is the stuff now n new stuff in the near future, n so on and so on.
