Some people on this board post nothing but hyperbolic, negative posts. It gets old.

Not only that, when confronted and asked for an alternative or a better idea for the sake of discussion (on an often proclaimed 'discussion board'...when it's convenient, of course) they throw their hands up in air and cop out.

I mean, c'mon we're not asking you to visually redesign PP's color scheme, but if you think it's so horrible, what do you think would work better?

But you get used to it around here.

You don't need to have a better solution to not like something. We are the consumers of the product - we don't need to suggest better solutions to be allowed to appreciate the product or not.
I didn't know talking about the color of railings on a discussion board required anyone to be a designer. Did I miss the part where you had to have some kind of license on file with MiceChat?

I thought this was a discussion board, again, not some kind of exam where anything you say is being scrutinized by evil DCA overlords. I find it kind of funny how people are quick to judge and complain, but when confronted, back away immediately.

Yes, you did. I'm going to have to turn you over to the Design License division of MiceChat now and they'll decide what punishment you should suffer. Possibly limiting your views of MiceChat to the "it's a small world 24/7" thread for a week.

When you pester people who give their opinions on something to "come up with a better idea of their own." As has been mentioned before, not everyone wants to be an Imagineer. Some people simply like to give their opinions and leave it at that.

Well asking someone to qualify their statement or reasoning behind something is normal... and people have done that here. Opinions need substantiation and qualification if you want it to carry weight.

But what is different is when someone isn't discussing the statements or opinion, but rather say 'well come up with a better solution'. Sometimes people just aren't interested. Honestly, I don't do dreamy. I prefer to spend those efforts on things when I'm getting paid to do it.

Invest time? I didn't know it was a big ordeal to pick another color you'd prefer to see.

But you know what, you're TOTALLY right. I'm sorry for trying to force you into a conversation you don't want to have about color choices when it's obvious you're too busy investing time in coming after posters like me.

You picked the fight - don't cry foul when people actually back up their position. Or is that the 'evil overlords' again?

As for time investment, I don't throw out opinions halfheartedly, as I put value and thought into my words, and I have no interest in trying to plan out colors in DCA. End of story.

It's not about just color. There are various complaints about texture, material, style, color, design, shape, etc. It's not a big ordeal, people just don't feel like doing it.

Was AWESOME. There will be a TR here in a few days. LOVED seeing all the construction in person. Photos simply don't do it justice. It's such a huge scale it's hard to picture it from photos. They were just putting up speakers and lights on one of the equipment towers by the park when we were there. Was fun to stand and watch them for a bit.

Wow, more time invested in coming after me! You'd think it was easier to say "red" or "blue," but nahhhhh! It's much more valuable to your MiceChat persona to make a stink about how much you're not interested in 'armchair imagineering.' We get it. What I was trying to get across was, nobody's asking you to redesign the pier. It's a color choice, if you don't LIKE the color, what's the big deal in providing a color that YOU'D prefer? I'm not trying to pull teeth here, it's like saying - "Oh, I don't like that car in red." "Well what color do you like it in?" "I DON'T NEED TO TELL YOU WHAT COLOR I PREFER I'M THE CONSUMER NOT THE CAR MANUFACTURER." It's a simple question with a fairly simple answer, so this whole backlash about trying to continue DISCUSSION doesn't compute with me.

Somehow my tone has been misconstrued, but this holier-than-thou attitude that's coming at me from all angles is kind of disappointing.

By the way, I was simply agreeing with something else someone said on the same page and tossing in my opinion, expanding on the manner, hardly 'resurrecting' anything.
