  • Ever gotten in trouble in the park?

Just wondering if anyone has gotten in trouble in the parks. Whether its on rides or something? Doing something you werent supposed to be doing...

Earlier this year me and a bunch of friends got i trouble for taking our shirts off on Space Mountain for the picture, we took our shirts off right after the first lift to prepare. But they stopped the ride and we had to be escorted out by the final lift, and no Space Mountain for the rest of the day. That's then worst I've ever done.

    Can you top that?

there was no line at the Winnie the Pooh ride so we attempted to cut across instead of going all the way back to the entrance. A CM yelled at us and we went back through to the beginning of the entry and walked through the queue.

I thought it was kinda pointless at the time but I understand that rules are rules :P I wont be caught doing that again.

I was walking past the Plaza Inn and saw Pat E. Cake hosting a birthday party. I knocked him down with a wicked sucker punch and stole his nametag off his apron. I then trode triumphantly down Main Street and out the gates, and into the mists of legend.

Before I was a CM, I used to take a lot of photos above the Construction walls in DCA, I would climb ledges and sometimes jump onto the wall just to get a pic. Well security caught me and I thought he was gonna take my camera, but he just gave me a lecture and let me be on my way. Some other guests asked what happened and thought it was ridiculous what he said! I did too! I almost laughed at his face! But now I keep my nose clean...

the most trouble i've gotten into was stepping over the yellow line by mistake.

it was for snow white. i hadn't been on it in over 5-6 years. it was literally a walk-on. if you remember the boarding area for snow white, the gate/fence ends and opens up to what looks like the waiting area to board. except it isn't a waiting area because the yellow line is right where the gate ends. i had passed the yellow line by about .5 to 1 foot. and the woman across the track screams at me "get back behind the yellow line!" i jump back, not because i'm obeying, but because she had actually startled me that much. i say i'm sorry with a sheepish smile. but she just glares at me. less than 1 second after the whole fiasco we are able to board.

i do understand that it was my own mistake, but man, that woman looked like she hated life. and i wasn't about to give her another reason to. so i abode.

a friend of mine has a story of him getting in quite a bit more trouble than my story. he was riding Haunted Mansion and decided to get out of his doombuggy and join his friend in the doombuggy behind his. a CM was waiting for him at the ride's end and he was then followed around for the rest of his visit at the park.

another story on Haunted Mansion (that doesn't involve me or anyone i know, but is still trouble-related): we were riding HM, and the ride stopped. a voice over the PA system announces "Remember that Disneyland is a family park. Please stay dressed appropriately." then the ride continued.. until it stopped again with the voice saying "Remember, we can SEE everything you are doing.." you can use your imagination to find out what people were getting in trouble for... apparently my mind is in the gutter.... but who knows

Re: Ever gotten in trouble in the park?

8th grade Disneyland Trip back in the early 80's my girlfriends and I had met some High School boys from Apple Valley. We were running around the park with them all day, riding rides having a good time. We decided to do pirates one last time before we had to get back to the bus, so we're all messing around on pirates being loud, knocking hats off our heads and someones ears fall in the water so we all start trying to grab the wayward ears. Well that turned into splashing and when we got off the ride there were three security guards waiting for us. They took us to a room behind New Orleans square and told us to start calling our parents... Then a supervisor walked in and said we could leave but we had to be escorted out of the park and couldn't come back in that day. They walked us to our bus, which we almost missed and gave us another stern lecture about bad behaviour.

Almost got kicked off of the Bobsleds. I was probably 12 and riding with my dad. I was wearing a plaster-of-paris body cast that went under my arms to just below my hips as a correction for scoliosis (curvature of the spine). Dad knocked on the front of my cast when the castmember was checking our seatbelts. His eyes got all wide and said we had to get off the ride. Dad assured him I was fine and that we rode the bobsleds all the time. He didn't look too convinced, but the castmember let us ride.

me and my friends were in line for space mountain, and we were chanting something (it was like CT is awesome or something), and quite a few more people were chanting it too, and we kept chanting when we got on the ride, and just when we were about to take off, the guy in the booth told us to stop cause we were being too loud and threaten to escort us off.

in all the other lines we just tried to start the wave

I was told to keep my hand inside the log at all times on Splash Mountain after was trailing my hand in the water. I think I was doing that absentmindedly.

oh yeah i remember during grad nite some people on our potc boat were escorted off. we don't know why but they practically got stripped search (not really but they had to take like all of their stuff out of their backpacks or purses or whatever and pockets.)

I haven't gotten in trouble, but my high school band class went and this one guy in my class got kicked out for hitting people (including a CM) with a plastic lightsaber. He had to spend the rest of his trip in Downtown Disney and I really didn't feel sorry for him.

Look at my avatar.....Well the four of us got on that pirate level, maybe a 5th of vodka & a 5th of brandy, not too much(), and got the grand idea of telling everyone we saw that McGee is Gary Coleman(use your best judgment in determining who McGee is because some sensitive types will get hurt if I use the term 'black', completely ignoring the fact that if I had any negative feelings based solely off someones ethnicity, I wouldn't have brought him to Disneyland in the first place.)....We got looks of disgust, looks of 'WTF?', and mainly a LOT of laughs....Well, eventually we were stopped by security, and upon cracking him up in a nice 10 minute convo, he let us go and told his manager we were ok to finish our night without being escorted out of the park....Oh boy was it a fun fun trip....Anybody at the parks on March 10-11, 2008??

This also was not about me, and happened a long time ago, but what trouble! A friend thought he was a real bad a**, and figured he would try to stop one of the trains. So he jumped a fence into an area where he thought he might be able to do this, and was caught within minutes. Well, this was a church outing, and we had only been at Disneyland for a couple of hours. So my friend got to sit on the church bus for about 12 hours after Disney security kicked him out, but like he said, that was better than calling his parents to bail him out of the Disney jail.
